We love smiles~

Megan
I've said it before - our clients are best thing about our PORCH & Atelier Markets~ Your smiles, excitement, friendliness - all the great energy you bring here is noted and appreciated! Campbell was here with Aunt Dawn~Did you note she's modeling Dawn's new scarf?Kathy's granddaughter, Megan, modeling her new denim jacket - with pearls, of course~Jake (left) and Taylor really were happy to be here - they're just taking a break after at least an hour of showing interest in this stuff~What great smiles! Jake, Marais, Sophie & Taylor, hands-full and ready to go out the doorWe totally enjoyed their excitement over what they found~And wrapped up the sale with their friendly farewells - we're looking forward to seeing them all again soon!A Sunday here isn't complete without the 'Sunday Load'. Just able to show two items today~Three very nice, sturdy counter stools (marked Italy, $44 for all three)~

And, the table you saw in the van. Two drawers, great legs, she arrived all ready to fine a home ($89).

Our JULY Market is all wrapped up, and we're already looking ahead to the next Market: August 2-8. ~TERESA

Just Pretty~ at the JULY Market

~I just had to show you this adorable sweater

Her details are endless - what to look at first?

Her fur collar and puffs down the front? They're the first thing I noticed about her~

Then, notice her embroidered organza lining~
~And, her velvet-lined collar
Ah, the Bullocks San Fernando Valley tag - a quick search for Bullocks tells me it was a gorgeous department store hot spot, primo LA - for the stars. And, no apostrophe in the name label dates it to pre-1964.

It was special enough for her original owner to keep it for over 40 years~ Wouldn't you like to know her story?

And, I'm happy we have photos to remember her by~

Because she went home (within an hour of being placed in the Atelier), with her new owner: Terry~

We like pretty--we like details-- and we like being able to share her with all of you~

We're open today (Friday 7/2, 9-5), Saturday (7/3, 9-5), and Sunday (7/4, noon-5).

Bon Holiday Weekend! ~TERESA

Our JULY Market is OPEN

~It's just great here today! A full shop is waiting for you, and the weather has been glorious here all week~We brought more in last night~
Like this tall black mirror - great on the floor as a dressing mirror.

The pair of stands from Sunday's load

I like twin furniture, these are newer and in perfect shape, and sold separately

Twin black tables with two shelves- you can place them together to make a square, or use them on their own; also sold separately~

And, a new Alan piece has arrived! You've liked this size (I'll get the measurements).

Two drawers, stationary shelf, beadboard all around, and a granite top; $249.

Picture this vintage floral stand in full-bloom glory - the buckets filled with jars of fresh blooms. 24 papier mache floral buckets on a folding black wire stand. $69.

Granite ovals have been restocked~ Many natural, gorgeous colors.

What do you do with them? Well, you love to tell me stories about how you use them, and one favorite is that they make a beautiful statement when gathering up everything to serve wine.

OK, this photo is from Tuesday morning. We decided to add an extra welcome with cold refreshments - we appreciate you! Here is that same table area last night - full of items for you to entertain with. Note the 14 stemmed liqueurs on the round tray~
So much more to show you, alot is happening here this week! Shop hours this week are shown on the right sidebar, thank you - TERESA

Welcome to Our JULY Market!

It's like getting ready for a big party - all the details falling into place, the excitement building~We're anticipating your visit, and welcome you to our JULY Market at The PORCH & Atelier~The view of the back courtyard from the second floor deck above, everything is waiting and anticipating~

I'll show you just a few pieces, like this petite dropfront desk~ The hat made me stop and take a closer look - I love beauty with function~

A layered mix of soft whites, with a little blue

And, color - along with a unique font in these printer blocks

More fun color~
Her vintage velvet is in very good shape~

Quantity. Look up/down and back/forth - most of all, enjoy yourself

The black mantel is $35. Did you know about the clearance prices offered on alot of items?

Decoupage detail #1 of an awesome cabinet~Detail #2

Most things aren't here long enough for us to research - Is this milliner print is the work of a French master? ~Tell me what you think.

With a full shot, you'd see her twin rocker to the left. Comfortable, roomy and in perfect shape, $35 each~

Thanks for taking this tres' petite shop tour; I'll be showing you much more in the coming days~

And wishing you a Happy 4th of July~

The Sunday Load 6-27

A beautiful summer morning, and a full load - my kind of fun!

Packed. Full. I could have gotten more, but wouldn't have the opportunity to go back for it! That happens sometimes....

Even the furniture has stuff packed inside.

A peek in the side door reveals more. Someone at the sale noticed my piles and commented that I shouldn't need more for a couple of months. What? Oh, they have no idea how much you love this stuff, and I'll keep at it, every week, never fail~

Pair of iron planters, two newer nightstands, wicker plant stand, more....

And, as usual, I don't do this without 'alot of help'. That's Henry (my three yr old grandson), he loves to get in the midst of the action, and just where is the phone charger now??

July Market photos will be posted very soon; Market hours this week are on the right sidebar. Until then, TERESA
