 We did it again!  Filled her up - this is just a first load for the week....

 Lots of good old stuff, including a lot of books with great titles/colors~

 Several pieces of furniture, including this mission-style buffet (we have the drawers)

The JUNE Market is NEXT week & The Sunday Load 5-27-12

Wow, two full loads and so much to work on - I love it!

 Hard to tell what's in this first load from these photos, but you'll be seeing alot of it in our upcoming JUNE Market posts.

 I'm excited about finding a great workbench - it's in there!  It will be scrubbed today, then it will have a 'paint wash'.  A popular treatment here for unfinished/weathered wood~

Our JUNE Market is next week: TUES JUNE 5 (9-noon), THU-FR-SAT JUNE 7-8-9 (9-5), SUN JUNE 10 (noon-5).  It's commonly thought that Buffalo's occasional sales are the first weekend of each month - no - the shops are always fully open the first Thursday each month~  Watch the top right sidebar for info about each next Market, too.

The Sunday Load 5-13-2012

 What a gorgeous day for a road trip!  The junking finds were out there waiting for us~

 Fun/full/I'm excited!

 Where to begin?  Bring it all in.

 Frames

 Good suitcases and trunks.  See the blue piece on the left?  It's a revolving base for the round aqua display tabletop, shown below~

Six pots, perfectly sized for the plant stand outside the Atelier.  Junking lesson for the day: let it find YOU - isn't that more fun?

You never know what you'll find at The PORCH & Atelier, but it all works so well together.  Alot of primitives in this load (all to be cleaned up), and next time, maybe I'll find ornate mirrors and upholstered furniture - it's all good, and I love it!  ~TERESA

Yes, we did get an Easter weekend load - two loads, in fact~
Two of the large pieces: leather wingback and bombe chest~

Both in beautiful condition.

Granite: honed/beveled edges: 46x29; tapered legs; height: 36" (counter height), and shelf below~

On to the third floor apartment: French Easter grass and blown quail eggs~

Sprucing up - a collection of old silverplate flatware almost fills that jar~ I also found the perfect place to 'store' my large trays~

New: I finally took advantage of the 6" ledge over the architectural entrance to the living room from the entree~

Your first peek at the white curtains just hung, flanking the daybed~

Chef Adam went to work after Easter dinner~

Ooh - one thing I kept for myself from the March 2012 PARIS trip: this pair of diminutive curtain rods. Did I buy them planning to use them in this way? Non~ But how perfect.

Sheer fabric with embossed wreaths - fabric I've saved to use 'one day' - eh voila~

Loving the way it looks and feels. Full views coming after the tour!

In the entree corner, two huge (they really are huge!) baskets of PARIS goods. Filled with all the prizes and pieces that will be in the Atelier, April 21st at our April in PARIS event (sorry, registrations are filled - but there will still be items available for purchase here after that date)~

Sunday loads - a favorite part of the week!

I haven't been good about showing them lately~

We fill up every chance we get~

Come rain, shine, or holiday rush~
Hearing about your special plans for pleasing friends and family is fun for us~

The Sunday Load 9-4-2011

The September Market was winding down, it was Sunday morning and I was out and about~Finding great mirrors, and more~

Six in all, here you see four of them.

Great quality, great frames. We found more stuff, too (a wonderful trunk yet to show you, and much more). The pieces were on the floor before I got a load shot. Good help around here, for sure~

You haven't seen this square table yet - iron legs, tin-wrapped top. She arrived on Saturday.

Gracie was here on Saturday (with Grandma, Mom and sister Lucy). She's starting kindergarten this week!

The Sunday load 8-21-11

What fun, spending a morning choosing great stuff for you! A full load - what's in there?
It took creative packing, that's for sure~
Kale plants were an unexpected, fun find~

Among the finds: kale, boxwood, and vines~

In the very bottom of the load, you couldn't see this great iron piece. I love its style~

We unloaded outside the Atelier, sorting what was ready to go in. There's alot of 'industrial' in this load - today we'll be cleaning it all up~

Old factory stool - I love it when I find these~

I spy a Frenchy table! Oh, to me there's nothing better than old gilt mixed in with the galvanized stuff~

If you're looking for 'perfect', this isn't for you. No drawers. But, we have great plans for how to make her an awesome display prop. I can't wait to show her in all of her glory in the Atelier~
