We love soirees~

I hosted a petite private soiree in the third floor apartment~ Gloria (far right) and friends in the apartment living room

Gloria wanted to surprise her book group with a special place to meet~

So, they came here! They were all graciously interested in the history of the building, the apartment renovation, and all about my secondhand lifestyle. What a treat for me~

They enjoyed a light meal - salad, cheeses, marinated vegetables~
They were an interesting, friendly group~

I enjoyed their time here~

They toured the apartment~

Relaxed a while, too~

After all was said and done in the apartment, they shopped The PORCH & Atelier~
Thank you for making all the arrangements, Gloria!

I have more photos of the apartment to show you, watch in the coming days, and thanks for your interest, too. ~TERESA

A Grand Time~

This great old building is the perfect setting for soirees - and grand celebrations with friends and family~
Its ambience and energy is especially striking when in an evening glow~I don't take Chef Adam for granted for one minute---wow, he handled the entire party menu! All I had to do was have the apartment kitchen waiting with cleared surfaces and an empty fridge~ (Have you seen this view from the kitchen to the entree?)The Atelier checkout was converted to bar and buffet~ Nate, at the bar. He smiled and served for over five hours. I am surrounded here by awesome friends and family - the reason for a grand celebration!Carafe of France 76 punch (left)- a definite hit. We first experienced it in the home of friends in Angers, France. Even the Evian bottles were special~ I'll have juice, please~

Friends, food, and old-time music by Adam and Meghan~ How can you top being serenaded by pros with voice, guitar, banjo and fiddle?

My daughter, Rachel and good Elk River friend, Linda~Son, Chef Adam~ Brie, blue, and Manchego cheeses
Crostini with goat cheese, Piquillo peppers and artichokes~
Palmiers with creme' fraiche, and strawberries (in Grand Marnier)
Is it a party without cupcakes?A grand MERCI BEAUCOUP.........to everyone who came---

---and everyone who helped - I don't do anything here without the support of generous friends and family ~TERESA

The BEST people are HERE~

Jeanne, Lori, Peg, Lisa, Sheryl and Colleen
Everyone had a great time last night! I work with so many wonderful people, we all have alot in common (plus this business), and our social time together is always while working in the shop: hauling furniture, decorating, and of course, when the shop is open, and they're meeting all of you!

Sheryl, AnneMarie and Stephanie

We had our first soiree together, long overdue, in the apartment last night. I don't do enough to show them how much I appreciate each and every one of them, and I can't wait to do it again. Adam (my son) prepared a delicious Biaggi's meal for our enjoyment - oh my - bruschetta, Caesar salad, seafood or chicken cannelloni (now a new favorite for all of us~).
Sue, Debbie, Stephanie (in background), and Lynn

My sister, Jeanne (on right), was a great hostess --the kitchen ran smoothly!

Our 'famous' Alan (cabinet builder), with his wife, Theresa. They kept the kitchen running smoothly, too - thank you!

Theresa (my niece)- you've probably picked up on the fact that family is part of everything here~
Sue and Lynn
We rarely sit around, eating, drinking, and relaxing, what a treat!

Colleen, Sue, Sheryl, Lynn and Brenda. It was so great to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Candice and Steve managed to stay out of the photos.
Kari, Larry, Patty and Rachel couldn't be here - we missed you!
