Buffalo and SPACES Twin Cities magazine

Photo by Jeanne Cummings.  Thanking you again, Jeanne!
It's February, but this was my go-to photo when SPACES asked for ad content.  It's a beautiful shot of this great old building - the plant baskets on the railing guide you up the sidewalk, inviting you in.

How it looks this time of year

Thank you, SPACES!  Your third feature in Buffalo, and we appreciate it!  And, a big thank you to everyone who came out here upon seeing the great coverage.

Love this fun postcard of the Eiffel Tower - too perfect for a little creative addition - like dropping our building right into the pastoral setting.

We think PARIS is a good idea all year - but especially now, as we plan for our SPRINGTIME in PARIS at The PORCH & Atelier.  'Vintage French Garden' - here, Saturday March 21, by reservation.

SPACES magazine & Buffalo!

SPACES Twin Cities returned to Buffalo - they first featured Buffalo occasional sales in October 2009 and we certainly welcomed them back! Look for the 'great places to eat shop and play' pages~

This Fall 2012 issue has even more information about visiting our fine city of Buffalo - several pages and lots of photos!  Thank you Martha Severson, SPACES Publisher

We were pleased to see this photo of shoppers at The PORCH & Atelier - the photographer was quite happy about the mirror effect.
Rachel's front door; she had kept the magnolia she found here last December~
Wishing you happy Fall decorating days - I think I'm due for a trip to the compost site to search for some colorful berries branches and more.  ~TERESA

'SPACES' features Buffalo~

The Oct/Nov issue of SPACES magazine isn't on their website yet, so I'm offering you scans of the printed issue today. If you 'right-click' on the photos, you can read the story.
Their 'Noon to Three' feature - can you believe it?! The article begins with Rose and the Second Hand Rose story - the first/the original sale in Buffalo (12-13 years now?), where I started in this business!
(Story headline note: the Buffalo occasional sales are all open the first Thursday-Sunday each month--sometimes it's the first weekend, not always. Plus, The PORCH & Atelier are open Tuesday (9-12) and Wednesday (9-2) preceding that Thursday. Are you confused yet?)

The PORCH back courtyard is in the upper right photo. I really loved the yellows, rusts, and reds out there at that time (click the link for an earlier post about it).
You can see that many Buffalo shops took advantage of a great ad opportunity. It's fun to see the parade of each of these shops in print. Buffalo pride is alive and well~

~We were very pleased they used two outdoor shots of The PORCH & Atelier! I love this grand old building~
First level: The PORCH; second level: the Atelier; third level: my apartment.
The downtown Buffalo Lake photo (top left corner) was shot from my third floor apartment living room window (yes---that's my view!).

October/November 'SPACES' magazine

~Hot off the press!
Thank you, 'SPACES' magazine, for the 'Noon to Three' Buffalo shopping & lunch feature!
The Oct/Nov issue is not yet shown on their website; I'll post the article soon (five pages~). Watch for the magazine, available now, 'free' at several Twin Cities locations: Bachmans, Kowalski's, IMS, and more.
We loved working with them (they're now fans of Buffalo shopping, too).
