I really enjoy working on a 'blue' piece. When I found this chest, I was intrigued by it's wonderful, high quality construction, narrow drawers, and---brass ring hardware.
My plan for today is to get more agressive when distressing the painted finish, bringing more of the original brown color through - then a final glaze and wax coat to complete the finish.
