Aren't UPDATES fantastic?

Currently one of my favorite 'before and after' pieces - a chair, of course~

 I'm continually amazed at transformations (I love it!) with paint, fabric, and in the case of this chair - grab a jigsaw, too~

 Have you figured out what this chair looked like in its former life?

 Not this exact chair, but you get it - a similar style- and common. 

 Cut the chair arm off at the shoulder - and where it attaches at the side of the seat

 Sand smooth, then paint to blend the new style~











Remove the old velvet cushion, add fresh batting, painter's cloth and tufted buttons.

 Now a wonderful dining chair (you could easily find four to make a set if), an occasional chair....~TERESA
