Glittered silhouettes of my grandsons hang on the tree; and more special touches - like their photo 'framed' in the jeweled wreath

 Easy, make you stop and look touches: French botanical print on the wall inside the wreath

 The 'clipboard' reflected in the mirror holds their holiday greetings - easy to browse~

 The brightest color used? Simple aqua tapers~

 Each cabinet top was layered with beautiful finds~

 Special little packages - while wrapping, she remembered having an earring that was just perfect~

 Comfortably entertained; she makes it all seem so easy.....

 More simple touches: two glittered birds held a baker's twine garland across the buffet table. (Note the slight tear in the paper cloth - behind the bird?  Two little boys....)

 Who doesn't like a swizzle stick - fun!

Cupcakes baked right in the liners, glaze drizzled on, top with crushed candy cane.  Who likes chocolate and peppermint?

 Ooh - Rachel always gives me ideas.  Gray chalkboard paint!  Expect to see it at the shop soon~

 'Simple' - tucked everywhere

Wishing you calm, joyful days this season.  As for me, I'm 'back in the saddle' today - the Atelier is open today through Saturday (Th-Fr-Sa, December 27-28-29 - we're probably closing early on Sat the 29th. ~TERESA

We love it when you let us know what you've done with your PORCH & Atelier finds! After being at our October Market last week, Sarah sent a great email with photos of what she did with her new chalkboard. Sarah: "I wanted to share that I love your store and had so much fun hunting around on Thursday. Here's what I turned that big red-framed chalkboard into..."

And look what she's done with it! Too cool, Sarah! I'm impressed with Sarah's chalk talent, aren't you? How fun to see and read what she's done. I laughed when Sarah followed up with a second email and new photos-- Sarah: "my husband had to comment on my spelling mistakes so I corrected them....this is the guy who spell checks my grocery list....good thing it was chalk!"

Chalkboard paneled door~

Thank you to Colleen, for her call asking for photos and details about the chalkboard door she had seen here~

This full-size door has five chalkboard panels on both sides; doorknobs on both sides with interesting, ornate doorplates; $39. If you like, you can easily remove the knobs, leaving the backplates.

This is all you can see of the reverse side today, but both sides have the same great quality~

The Atelier shop level is open during the month (Thu-Fri-Sat every week, 10-5). You may purchase via phone (763 684-1254) and we'll gladly hold it for your pickup~ TERESA

~I received a great email from Jenni at Chickpea & Fig.
I met Jenni at our September sale - we struck up a conversation when I admired her adorable bag. She had found a frame here, and was planning to make a magnetic chalkboard for her sewing studio.
